This Outdoor First Aid Training course is a 16-hour teaching time in line with the criteria of the National Governing Body (NGB) Courses guidance and is suitable for, and recognised by the majority of National Governing Bodies such as the MLTUK, BCU, BOF, SMBLA, BCA, BASI, RYA etc.

The aim of the course is to enable students to effectively manage first aid in an Outdoor or Remote Environment as well as covering the requirements of the HSE guidelines for Emergency First Aid at work.

This is a practical course, concentrating on what you do in different situations rather than what you know. To this end, participants learn a set of general principles, which they can adapt to different situations.

We provide each person with a First Aid Manual and personal (single person) first aid kit.

This Outdoor First Aid Training course is delivered in association with Carnegie Great Outdoors & Leeds Beckett University.
